Celebrating Our Best Performance Award in MedTech at Thailand Innovation Hub 2026

Today, we celebrate a significant achievement that reflects these values: NPI has won the Best Performance Award in MedTech/HealthTech at the Thailand Innovation Hub 2026, presented by the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) of Thailand.

This award recognizes our commitment to developing the world’s first AI robotic mattress designed to prevent pressure injuries without the need for manual turning. This breakthrough technology aims to improve patient care and comfort, setting a new standard in healthcare.

Our Journey and Core Strengths

Our success is rooted in a strong foundation of expertise and teamwork. The Institute of Field Robotics at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) played a crucial role in shaping our team’s skills and passion for robotics. Their guidance helped us build a product that combines engineering excellence with practical healthcare solutions.

The support from the National Innovation Agency (NIA) has been vital. NIA’s continuous encouragement and resources have allowed us to grow and refine our technology. We also owe thanks to K. Kwan, President of the Thai Health Tech Startup Association, whose advice and support have been invaluable in navigating the startup landscape.

Collaboration with strategic partners has been key to turning our vision into reality. Phyathai-Paolo Hospital Group provided a real-world environment to test and improve our mattress. Their openness to innovation created a perfect sandbox for development.

The Phyathai 3 Hospital team also contributed significantly. Dr. Surapol Lohsiriwat, Director, along with K. Pavinee (Nursing Director), K. Kung (Head of ICU), and K. Nuch (Research Nurse/Innovator), worked closely with us to ensure the mattress meets clinical requirements and improves patient outcomes.

By eliminating the need for manual turning, the mattress reduces the workload on healthcare staff and improves patient comfort and safety. Our next steps involve scaling production and expanding our reach to hospitals worldwide.
